Poolside passes

Two things are needed for a coach, team manager, or chaperone to be on poolside at a Bolton Metro meet: a valid SENW accreditation pass (free, per-person, issued by the visiting club) and their club's Bolton Metro poolside pass (£15 flat per club, waived if the club provides officials).

SENW accreditation (per person, free)

  • Every coach, team manager, and chaperone on poolside must hold one. Any parent chaperoning their own child must also hold one.
  • Club secretaries generate passes for their poolside team via the SENW Accreditation Platform before the meet. Free, verifies
  • DBS and safeguarding compliance, non-transferable.
  • QR codes are scanned at the poolside entrance on the day. Wristbands are issued on successful verification. Personnel without a valid pass will not be granted poolside access.
  • Club secretary not yet registered? Email events@swimnorthwest.org with your club name, secretary's name, SE number, and contact email.

Bolton Metro poolside pass (per club, £15)

  • £15.00 flat per visiting club, regardless of how many coaches or team managers are poolside.
  • Waived in full for clubs providing one or more technical officials. Flag this on your poolside pass request form.

Bolton Metro is not responsible for any unaccompanied swimmers on the poolside. The responsibility falls on the club entering the swimmer.
